Joint managing director at Opus Land, Richard Smith, has been listed in the Insider magazine top 50 people in property. The list includes the most influential people in property development, residential, professional advice, design, agents and the public sector in the Midlands. Richard features as one of 12 developers, including industry heavyweights such as Sir Euan Anstruther-Gough Calthorpe of Calthorpe Estates and Paul Bassi CBE of Real Estate Investors. Insider compiled the list based on those that have had a major contribution to their relevant sector in last 12 months, either through a specific project or by having had significant influence.

Richard’s listing comes hot on the heels of joint managing director Victoria Turnbull’s inclusion in the Bisnow ’47 women who will shape the future of UK real estate’. Also named as the ‘West Midlands Warrior’, Victoria is responsible for procuring new opportunities and delivering Opus Land’s projects.

It’s been a busy few months for the Opus Land team including two new hires, and more than 280 acres in the development pipeline, 2019 looks set to be a busy and successful year for the firm.
