As you may have seen, Palmer Capital have been shortlisted for EG’s London Deal of the Year at this year prestigious EG award ceremony, which will be held on 22nd October at Grosvenor House.
We are honoured to have been shortlisted for this title, and very much hope that we have done what it takes to be awarded with the trophy on the night.
The shortlisting came as a result of our recent sale of 80% of the business to Fiera Capital, a leading independent asset management firm based in Canada, who have over $149.5B Canadian dollars in assets under management (as at 30th June 2019).
Fiera Capital have many different arms in the company, and Palmer Capital will be working in conjunction with their real estate arm – Fiera Real Estate. Palmer Capital have become their first real estate acquisition within the UK and we look forward to helping to broaden the reach of their property portfolio.
The acquisition marks a marriage between two like-minded, highly successful real estate asset management firms, who together will pool their expertise and knowledge to expand globally, increase and diversify their offering to investors, and seek to use the opportunities that will arise from a post-Brexit environment to create value.
This deal therefore marks a huge change in Palmer Capital, a company that has been well-established within the real estate sector for the last 27 years, and kicks off this new exciting chapter in our journey.
