The Palmer Capital business model is unique with it owning 33% shareholding stakes in property development companies across the UK. The business model has evolved over the last twenty years but all of the businesses focus on adding value in real estate opportunities, with a consistent theme of the management teams owning part of the business within which they work.
Palmer Capital UK has two distinct divisions – fund management of pooled or segregated property vehicles Investment Management Platform and share-holdings in property asset and development management companies Operating Platform.
These complementary activities provide Palmer Capital with the advantage of being able to source and execute property transactions from the Operating Platform and to fund and structure these with the investors whose capital it manages in its Investment Management Platform, or utilising equity from its own balance sheet. The fact that there is owner management at every level, whether it is at Palmer Capital itself or alternatively via the operating companies, means that there is accountability, drive, and loyalty across a vertically integrated platform.
